Applications
Aquaflow NLS-210 NSAT can be used in interior and exterior paints,either as a sole thickener or in combination with Aquaflow NHS-300 NSAT or Natrosol™Plus modified hydroxyethylcellulose.
Combinations of Aquaflow NLS-210 and NHS-300 NSATs are compared with combinations of a low-shear effective HEUR and a high-shear effective HEUR in four paints: interior vinyl-acrylic eggshell, interior acrylic semi-gloss, interior styrene-acrylic gloss, and an exterior acrylic semi-gloss.The Aquaflow products deliver efficiency improvements of up to 20% depending on the formulation.
Incorporation
In vinyl-acrylic paints,AquaflowM NLS-210 rheology modifier should be added before the latex. If Aquaflow NLS-210 and NHS-300 NSATs are used together;Aquaflow NHS-300 NSATs should be added first.
In some formulations, diluting Aquaflow NLS-210 NSAT aids incorporation. The recommended procedure is to dilute Aquaflow NLS-210 NSAT to 12.5% solids with a 75/25 water/diethylene glycol monobutyl ether (Butyl Carbitol* solvent) mixture.

Packaging and Storage
Aquaflow NLS-210 NSATs is supplied in plastic drums of 200 kilos net or in totes of 1050 kilos net. It is recommended to use the product in rotation on a first-in-first-out basis. The product should be stored under dry and clean conditions at room temperature in its original packing away from heat.
